Provides a statistics and analysis system for a seven card Texas Hold'em Poker game in real time.

bullet Allows the user to enter cards for each stage of play (hole, flop, turn and river cards). As each of the cards are enter the hand statistics are updated.

How Does it work?

The software selects values for the cards which are unknown through a a deck which has gone though a random shuffler. It then determines if the hand wins, losses or ties and records statistics.

For example, when the hole cards are entered
1) The player's hole cards are set
2) The opponent hole cards are randomly selected.
3) The flop, turn and river are randomly selected.
4) It is determined if the player or the opponent won per standard poker rules.
5) This process/series is then repeated

Another example, when the hole, flop and turn cards are entered
1) The known hole, flop and turn cards are set.
2) The opponent cards are randomly selected.
3) The River card is randomly selected.
4) It is determined if the player or the opponent won.
5) This process/series is then repeated

Instructions:

Use:
1) Click hole cards - The cards which are in your hand.
2) Click the flop - Shared cards.
3) Click turn card - Shared card.
4) Click river card - Shared card.

Buttons:
Card button table - Allows user to enter cards.
Clear - Resets all the selected cards.
Pause - Stops the simulation.

Abbreviations
DM - Diamond
HR - Heart
CL - Club
SP - Spade
J- Jack
Q- Queen
K - King
A- Ace

Analysis

Hand percentage is determined for each stage of game. Above hand percentage is the percentage of hands the entered cards beat. In this example, the river hand percentage shows the combination of cards which beats 95 percent of all hands dealt. It does not mean the hand will win 95 percent of the time. Below hand percentage is the opposite of the above hand percentage. The tie percentage displays their percentage of hands which tie. # hands is the total number of hands simulated during each stage.


Final hand percentage is the odds of ending up with a particular type of poker hand if played through the river card. The types include straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair and high card. This is helpful when determining pot odds.
